Our First Hiking Trip with Barrett

We went up near Estes Park today and hiked a trail known as Lion's Gulch. It was beautiful! This was Bear's first trip anywhere in the mountains. It was about 65 degrees, I think the warmest day we've had all year.


Cocoa really enjoyed running around, she's been couped up all winter with a busted hip, and this was her first chance to get some exercise. She even said hi to a few other dogs along the way.
We attempted some offroading, however the trail we were going to try was still closed for winter.

On family news: Barrett is growing a lot! He's already wearing 3-6 month clothes although he's only 9 weeks old. He's holding his head up really well, and has been making lots of noises as he's trying to talk. We expect he'll roll over on his own any day now...
