Bear loves fish. Really. He really really loves fish. He has a 25 piece Finding Nemo puzzle that he spends at least an hour, maybe more, putting together everyday. When I say everyday, I mean everyday.
We decided to feed that passion and buy him a little Betta fish. Fishy isn't really anything special, just one a blue one we found at the pet store for under $5.
All the way home, Bear kept telling me, "don't shake it! don't shake it!" Totally stressed out in the back.
It took Joe and I a while to interpret what he was shouting into English. I guess after watching Finding Nemo a gazillion times, he learned that if you shake the bag- you kill the fish.
After almost a week, Fishy is still alive.
and a basic color to replace easily just in case.
