I know it's not quite Thanksgiving yet, but Bear saw some Turkey's at the Berry Patch Farm the other day so we decided to do a super simple Hand/Foot Turkey project for school this morning.
Seriously, it's really easy.
-Trace (or have them trace) your kids feet onto a piece of brown paper (cut it out if they are too little for scissors)
-Trace their hands onto pieces of colorful paper- we used red, orange, and cream for ours and cut it out. You should get a couple of colors. We ended up with about 8 hands all together.
-color the hands and feet if you want
-glue the two feet together to make the turkey's face
-glue the hands onto the back of the turkey
-add googly eyes, a nose, a mouth- whatever it is you want to make the turkey a turkey
There you go. A good way to use up an extra half hour or so and a pretty cool looking Turkey.
